Visual artist Joanna Wong is interested in the organic. It grants a certain freedom to the matter to let it find its own form. Through her installations, she seeks a balance between control and freedom, between the domestic and the savage. Creative activity is a process rather than a result. Whether it is gathering, breeding or cultivating, its practice takes on the air of urban agriculture and cooking. She is currently a Doctor of Plastic Arts at Panthéon-Sorbonne and works at the OpenBach .
